Flight Test and KDR Preparation
RPC, RPL, PPL, CPL, MEA, SEIR and MEIR – Flight Test Ground Theory Components and KDR Consolidation
In the lead up to a flight test, it is paramount that you are prepared for what your Authorized Testing Officer (ATO) might throw your way during the ground theory component. Flight test preparation is key! You will need to familiarize yourself with the flight test ground theory component and also ensure that you have revised over your Knowledge Deficiency Reports (KDRs) from your passed theory exams and that you have made an effort to learn and understand those areas of the CASA Part 61 Manual of Standards.
AvPrep can tailor a package of lessons to work through your KDRs and ensure that you are aware of what might be asked by your ATO during the KDR consolidation and ground theory component of your flight test. We also conduct a verbal practice run through with one of our experienced tutors.
Ideal candidates for Flight Test and KDR Preparation are student, private and commercial pilots engaged in the following:
- IREX Theory Course
- CPL Theory Course
- Integrated Pilot Training Course
- Non-Integrated Pilot License Student
- Upcoming Flight Tests for RPL, PPL, CPL, Multi-Engine Class Rating, Instrument Rating Flight Test
- Time poor / Isolated / Remote learners
